Kalsubai Trek from Mumbai
Overview
Kalsubai with a height of 1646 meters 5400 Feet is famous as one of the highest peaks in Maharashtra. Kalsubai lies in the Sahyadri mountain range. This being the highest peak, it commands a beautiful view. Since Kalsubai is extremely famous, enough effort has been made to make this trek easy.
Surrounded by lush green forests and fields, the trekking route towards Maharashtra’s Highest Peak i.e. Kalsubai Shikhar is a surreal experience for all nature lovers and trek enthusiasts. Challenging yet fun-filled, trek towards the highest summit will test your patience and offer an amazing panoramic view of several more mountain ranges like Alang, Madangad, Kulang, Ratangad (southwest), and to the south Pabhargad, Ghanchakkar & Harishchandragad. Also, attempting to climb Kalsubai - the most wish-listed mountain in the Sahyadri offers a great sense of achievement for most trekking enthusiasts.
Nestled among several slopes, the Kalsubai trek is a mix of easy to ascend slopes as well as rocky patches overlooking the valley below. To reach the Kalsubai peak, Govt. has built many iron ladders along the vertical hill slopes. Before the final lap, there comes a resting post where you can halt and enjoy having hot tea as well as crispy snacks. On Kalsubai peak, there exists a temple devoted to Kalsubai Mata where local villagers offer prayers and perform Pujas during festivals.

Itinerary
- Well, be boarding the Bus from the nearest local Pick up points. Bus timings are linked & shared in Pick-up Point Location for convenience:
- 03.00 am: Reach Kalsubai Base Village and rest for sometime
- 05.00 am: Freshen up and have breakfast
- 05.30 am: Briefing and a short introduction
- 06:00 am: Gear up, & pack your bags and get out! For adventure Trek, It’s gonna be a long climb to the top. We will make a few halts on the way where you can grab your snack or a drink.
- 09:30 am: Reach Kalsubai Top; Explore the summit and witness some of the other peaks from the top
- 11:45 am: We start our descent. Finally, you get a view of the surroundings you climbed through in the early morning.
- 03:00 pm: We reach back down and grab a quick lunch.
- 04:00 pm: Time to head back to Mumbai.
Know Before you go
- There is no freshen-up / washroom / Toilet facility on the Mountain only Available at the Base Village Bari.
- Floaters and Sandals are not allowed, please wear sports shoes or trekking shoes of good quality.
- Avoid wearing precious Jewelry while trekking, as we won’t be responsible for any losses for the same.
- Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without a refund.
- Use repellents to keep bugs away
- Do not stray away from your group during the trek
- The organizer’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.

- Upon completing your reservation, anticipate receiving a comprehensive email and SMS containing booking details. Present your SMS or booking confirmation email at the reception counter during check-in.

Cancellation Policy
- No refund if cancelled : We know plans can change, and we're here to help. Unfortunately, no refunds are available once a booking is confirmed. Your reservation is final, and modifications or reschedules can't be accommodated. In case of cancellation, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
- Unforeseen Circumstances : This activity requires good weather. In cases of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions leading this activity cancellations, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- Refund Process : Refunds will be credited to the original booking payment source within 10 business days, and cash refunds will not be issued
