Miramar Beach is situated 3 km from Panaji in North Goa. The beach in Miramar is one of the most popular Beaches in Goa.  A 2 km long coast of the excellent, soft silvery sand bed, a mesmerizing vast blue sea in front of it, the Miramar Beach is a beautiful expanse of fine golden sands girdled with palm trees facing the blue Arabian Sea. Miramar beach is the sort of beach where you sit down and watch the sunset in its entire ssplendor This beach was originally popular as the 'Gasper Dias Beach' and it is the point where Mandovi River merges with the Arabian Sea. It's a romantic gateway for adventure freaks, beach lovers and honeymoon couples. The 2 km long coast vaunts of a splendid, soft silvery sand bed that glitter in the moonlight and offer colorful view of the Aguada fort. Miramar beach offers a fascinating view of the magnificent Portuguese fort across the river. Beach lovers can get a beautiful glimpse of the grandeur of the Arabian Sea from the beach. No doubt, it has peaceful surroundings and solitude, which draws thousands of tourists at this place to rejuvenate and take the pleasure of a tranquil atmosphere.

The beach commands a panoramic view of the Aguada fort just across the Mandovi River. The multi-cuisine stalls next to the beach are a treat to the locals as well as the tourist. It is very much commercialized with a large number of hotels like Goa Marriott Resort and Spa and restaurants like Pan Asian Bowl in close proximity to the beach. There are a lot of shopping centers and tourist destinations around the beach too. A Roman structure at the entrance gives it a very artistic look. At Miramar beach, one can get pleasure and satisfaction with some interesting activities like fishing, bird watching, shopping, strolling around and taking leisurely walks alongside the seaside. Watersports like scuba diving, jet skiing, water surfing and fishing can be enjoyed. It is very much commercialized with a large number of hotels and exclusive homes.
