Overview
blossom park or Blossom Hydel Park is a nature park set in a vast stretch of 16 acres of wooded land. situated near the Pallivasal hydro-electric project. It is about 3 km away from Munnar town. It is a peaceful location to enjoy a calm and relaxing nature walk admiring flowers and surrounding green hillside. This Hydel Park is nearby the banks of River Muthirappuzha and the misty Kannan Devan Hill Tea Estates. Blossom Hydel Park features a vast stretch of landscaped mounts, gardens, artificial waterfalls & lush lawns. The garden elegantly decorated with appealing flowers, alluring plants and trees is an ideal location for young couples and kids. You can also take pleasure in nature walking, adventure trails, boating in tranquil waters, watch migratory water birds, bird watching, roller skating, badminton, and other activities. one can enjoy the aroma of fresh mountain flowers or become playful in the vast stretch of tempting lawn at Hydel Park for the visitors.
Know Before you go
- picking up flowers, littering at any place is strictly prohibited in the Park.
- The park has an enormous play area for children. There are tree houses, ropeways and swings to make children happy.
- The park offers many activities for tourists like boating, cycling, roller skating etc.
- Near the entrance, the ticket counter is the boating counter. Here they offer coracle boat rides for 15 minutes at Rs 120 per adult. Speed boating also available, the boat ride closes at 5 pm and tickets would be stopped around 3:30 pm.
