About
Calangute Beach is considered the “Queen of Beaches” of North Goa. Calangute is equally popular with Indian tourists as well as International tourists. During the Indian summer holidays of April & May, this beach is packed by beach lovers and picnickers from all over India. Calangute is the busiest beach of Goa. Calangute has it all, seafood, beach shacks, beer on the beach, souvenir shops, party places, and beach accommodations. Calangute beach is also the longest beach in Goa with Candolim beach continuing on the left and Baga beach continuing towards its right. The beach itself isn’t anything special, with steeply shelving sand, however, it’s capacity is large enough to accommodate the huge number of high-season visitors. On the shores of the Arabian Sea, under the shade of palm trees, bathes the Queen of Beaches-Calangute.
