This is the only beach of Goa in which a horizon cannot be seen. Rather one can see the city line or cityscape of Panjim city right in the front. This beach is located in the village of Nerul just after crossing over the bridge close by near Candolim Tinto (junction). Nerul beach or Coco Beach is a very quiet beach. It is mostly frequented by Goan families for picnics as well as a lot of foreign tourists. It is situated among a large number of palm trees. Coco beach is basically a fishing village. Water sports and boating trips are Organised here. Most of the beach shacks on Coco beach will offer you a boat trip around the bay. They will call this a 'Dolphin spotting trip'. This is a nice trip to do if you are on Coco Beach all day. This beach is famous for bird watching, riverboat rides, sunbathing, fabulous Goan seafood restaurant below the bridge and quiet surroundings. The beach of Coco or Nerul beach is just a short bike ride from Mount Valley Guest House.
