Polem Beach is a very beautiful and quite beach in Canacona taluka, south Goa, close to the Karnataka border and the port town of Karwar, in Karnataka. Polem beach is a beautiful 700m stretch of secluded, off the beaten track beach, with golden sand and fringed by tall palm trees. Polem Beach is a beautiful secluded beach that has stretches of white sands and rocky headlands. It is suitable for those who want to be by themselves away from the crowded areas as it is a totally isolated beach. Polem Beach is about 700 m long, this is a sand bar in form of a sickle, which ends from both its sides with steep overgrown green capes.This is a very small beach with beautiful surroundings. there are rocks on either end of the beach. this place is best for relaxing,sunbathing and swimming. The view onto the ocean is breathtakingly beautiful: blue challenging waters of the ocean and lots of small islands which interrupt its blue surface and the peaceful circling above of sea birds. Polem Beach is the last beach among a number of amazing Goa beaches and the last beach also for the Canacona region.
